What is Accessibility?
Web accessibility (also referred to as a11y) is the practice of making your websites usable by everyone. We traditionally think of this as being about people with disabilities, but the practice of making sites accessible also benefits other groups such as those using mobile devices, or those with slow network connections. Accessibility support is necessary to allow assistive technology to interpret web pages.

- organization of the content on the page with headings and its ranks,
- keyboard compatibility to navigate through buttons, tabs and dropdowns,
- support for live regions - announcements of dynamic changes for non interactive content,
- list support for some of the visually represented content (ex. lineups),
- aria-labels for visually represented content,
- accessible tables with values linked to table legend.
